December 7th, 1941 | Portsmouth NH

Today is December 7th, 2011. 70 years ago at this time Japan was attacking our American Naval Base at Pearl Harbor Hawaii. Following is a recollection of that day’s events from a then young sailor that was actually there during the attack. Portsmouth Full Moon Harbor Tour

The moon was full last night which was a good reason to join Portsmouth radio station WXQR and their monthly Portsmouth Harbor Cruise. This is a very cool two and half hour boat ride from the Isles of Shoals Steamship Company dock on Market Street near downtown Portsmouth to out past the harbor entrance and into the Atlantic Ocean.
