It’s a rainy Tuesday afternoon in Portsmouth but a fellow Realtor is having a broker open house in what promises to be a spectacular downtown Portsmouth NH condo circa 1857, so I’m packing up my umbrella and headed for 300 Court Street
Looks pretty promising on the outside, let’s go in and have a look at this Portsmouth beauty. This is a 2 unit building and we’re touring the upstairs unit. The driveway on the left goes with this home.
WOW was my first impression as I walked into the great room. What a marvelous room combining living, cooking, relaxing, and entertaining all in one, well appointed, terrific space.
And it just kept on getting better as I discovered the rear view was of the back yard and the 100 foot long rose garden at the historic (a common term in Portsmouth) John Langdon house. Mr… Langdon was a 3 term New Hampshire Governor and a signer of the United States Constitution.
If you’re looking for a great condo in the downtown Portsmouth area you can’t get any close than this. It’s about a 3 block walk to the harbor and town square from here not to mention Prescott park.
The inviting ‘red room’ below is just off the living/great room and could be either a study/office or a 4th bedroom if need be.
