One of the most notable shifts this month is the median sales price, which increased from $865,000 in May 2024 to $1,200,000 in May 2025—a 38.7% year-over-year rise. Year-to-date, the median home price in Portsmouth NH is up 14.1%, now sitting at $970,000.
Strong buyer demand, a desirable coastal location, and historic charm are continuing to drive property values upward across Portsmouth and the New Hampshire Seacoast.
