For a great Christmas activity sure to delight kids of all ages we highly recommend a visit to the Portsmouth Discovery Center to see the 28th Annual Gingerbread House Exhibit. Prepared to be amazed as your tour the exhibit of over 50 amazing structures constructed of gingerbread and others holiday edibles (no sampling unfortunately)..

The exhibit runs through December 22nd and is free to the public. Easy parking just across the street in the city’s Bridge Street parking lot or you may be lucky enough to snag a free space behind the discovery center. The drive turns off Middle Street. The Portsmouth Discovery Center is located at the corner of Middle Street and Islington, just caress the street from Jumping Jay’s Fish Cafe. The street address is 10 Middle Street.

This is the Portsmouth Music Hall and whoever created this masterpiece did an incredible job. If you go to the exhibit be sure and take a look at the rear of this one. The inside of the Music is fully recreated including the balcony and ceiling.
